- Why
should I have a wedding video if I already have a photographer?
A good wedding video will capture the essence of
your function. Photos capture moments in time while a good video
will record your ceremony, the speeches, music and all the fun of
your wedding.
- What
makes Video memory makers different from other videographers?
We have been involved in the wedding industry for
over thirty years, first in photography, then in film and now in
video. We understand how a function works and as a result are at the
right place at the right time to capture all those important moments
at your wedding. We go out of our way to be unobtrusive and only use
the minimum amount of light necessary. Over the years, we have developed
unique methods of capturing video footage, which enable us to record
events most other videographers would miss. In addition, we use
extension microphones during the ceremony and for the speeches for
professional sound quality
- How
long will my video be?
Every wedding is different. In trying to make your
video interesting and entertaining, we are always on the lookout for
appropriate material, as a result the length of your video will vary
between one and a half and two and a half hours.
- How
many copies of the video do I get?
Our package entitles you to the one DVD. Every
additional DVD will cost you R200.00 each.
- How
many copies do you suggest I order?
Most couples order three DVDs. One for themselves
and one for each set of parents. Should one of your DVDs be damaged,
a replacement can always be copied from one of the others.
- How
do I go about getting a conversion for the American NTSC video
system?
We will supply you with the telephone number of an
excellent standards converter on request.
- Do
you require anything from us to use in the video?
A maximum of 25 photographs comprising roughly one
third of the bride growing up, one third of the groom growing up and
one third of the bride and groom together is required for the
introduction to the video as well as an invitation. We also require
three to four appropriate pieces of music of your choice on CD to
use as background music to the introduction and various other parts
of the video.
- Do
you only do wedding videos?
We also do corporate videos, training videos and
cover all types of family functions such as birthdays,
anniversaries, christenings and other celebrations.
